A NEW LEAF
(Necklace, Pearls, Green Adventurine, Sterling Silver)
The shape of the leaf was handmade by me with wire, sterling, of course. On the left side wire is woven in and out to create a pretty silver pattern. And on the right, two different colors and sizes of green pearls are sewn to the outside of that shape, and then light and dark green adventurine beads are sewn in the middle of the design.
This pendant measures 1 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" long. It hangs from an 18" snake chain. The pendant is so lovely that I thought a simple chain would be best for it. 95.00
Spinning Wheel
(Necklace, Sterling Silver, Garnets, Pearls)
A medium thickness wire is shaped into the circular spiral. Then metallic blue pearls are sewn on the outside of the circle and shiny pomegranate colored pearls are sewn to the inside of the circle. Tiny garnet beads were added to the spiral inside. And last but not least, the pendant hangs from an 18" snake chain. $75.00
Ebony & Ivory
(Necklace, Ebony and Wood Beads, Sterling Silver, Chain, Tiger Iron Briolette)
The brio is made of the gemstone tiger iron which is a gem that is a combination of jasper, tiger eye and hematite. From a distance the brio just looks like a dark brown but it is actually more beautiful than that. Get closer to the gem and you can see may striped, varied shades of brown. This brio is a really nice specimen of tiger iron. The brio measures 1 1/8" wide by 1 1/2" long. A sterling silver coiled bail was made to attach the brio to the rest of the necklace.
The wood beads hang from sterling silver cable chain that is 6" long on both sides and has a pretty sterling clasp. I like the mix of metal, wood and stone in this piece.
The cool diamond shaped wood beads are ebony and whitewood. They are 3/4"x1" and about 1/8" thick. The other ebony beads are cut into a triangular shape. I love these beads! Tiny sterling beads are in between the wood beads for a little shine.
This necklace measures 24" long to the top of the brio. 75.00
